Heidi Choy joined RuleMeister as Sr Principal Consultant
in 2000. Since joining, she has worked with several clients
in diversified industries: healthcare, distribution, film
entertainment, payroll processing and real estate software
vendor. Heidi worked efficiently in multiple capacities:
as a DBA, software developer and project manager. Due to
her skills and enthusiasm for client success, she was highly
regarded by all the clients. Her technical specialty was
in database administration and industry strength in healthcare.
Nevertheless, with her strong communication skills, she
was capable of adapting to different environments and industries
relatively quickly.
With a people-oriented approach, she focused on establishing
working relationships and communication with project teams.
As a result, she was able to extract user requirements accurately
and manage project schedules effectively. She always tries
her best to cross-train client's employees - making sure
someone on the team would be able to take charge and the
process installed can regenerate itself.
Heidi has specialized in database design and administration,
and programming in different languages. She believes that
an efficient database model can only be achieved by knowing
the pros and cons of the development tools, and combining
with the business needs of the users - including all the
way from intensive data entry to data analysis. By practicing
her belief, she has successfully implemented database design
and applications that work according to user requirements;
in addition, the applications were maintainable and scalable.
The approach taken is repeatable across development tools,
platforms and industries.
Heidi received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Information
Systems at Woodbury University and graduated as Summa Cum
Laude.
